Company Description

My name Is Taylor McPhail, and I’m a guitarist from Okotoks Alberta. I teach all styles of music and students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. My lessons are tailored towards the student, ranging from learning your favorite songs to learning music theory, ear training, technique, improvisation and composition.

I graduated from Red Deer College, earning a Music Diploma with a major in Jazz Guitar, and was the winner of the 2011 Red Deer College Scholarship Competition for Best Guitarist, and Best Original Composition. I was also one of the winners of the 2009 Alberta’s Best Young Songwriter Competition. I have my Royal Conservatory of Music Certifications for Grade 1 and Grade 2 Rudiments with Honours.
