Opening in 1975, the Walter A. "Slim" Thorpe Recovery Centre was a 2 bed detox centre. Today, the organization has grown into a 72 bed facility in the outskirts of Lloydminster AB/SK.
The Thorpe Recovery Centre provides Medically Supported Detox for those withdrawing from alcohol and drugs, a 42+ day Residential Treatment Program, a Family Intensive and Children support program.
