Old MacDonald Dog Rescue rehomes dogs from Ponoka Town Animal Control ,County of Camrose and Ponoka County Animal Control
the rescue also takes relinquished dogs from nearby reserves if there is room.

Martine started Old MacDonalds Kennels Pet Boarding to raise money to afford her rescue. Please keep Old MacDonalds Kennels in mind if you are going on a vacation.

If you wish to relinquish a pet, you must phone the rescue first for approval and be prepared to pay a surrender fee for us to take responsibility for your pet if we have space. You may have to go on a waiting list.

All our rescues are vet checked and vaccinated
they are also altered (spayed or neutered) if old enough.

The Rescue Adoption Hours are 8 am - 5 pm on Weekdays, and 8 am - 11am and 3 pm - 5 pm on weekends. After hours are by appointment only. Please call Martine at 403-350-4654.

We are located 17 kilometers East of Ponoka on Highway 53 and Range Road 235. The sign reads Old MacDonalds Kennels.
