The Canadian town of Rocky Mountain House is located in west-central Alberta. At the confluence of the Clearwater and North Saskatchewan Rivers at the intersection of Highways 11 and 22 (Cowboy Trail), it is located about 77 kilometers (48 miles) west of Red Deer (David Thompson Highway). Rocky Mountain House serves as the administrative hub for the neighboring Clearwater County.
