Coordinated Entry
Coordinated Entry is a single place or process for individuals experiencing homelessness to access housing and support services. The goal of this system-wide program is to meet the needs of the most vulnerable and highest acuity first (triaging) while ensuring all individuals and families who come into contact with the homeless system are assessed and provided with appropriate supports to exit homelessness. We have drop in meetings with the team available at the main Safe Harbour location of 5246-53 Ave Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday 8:30am until 10:30am and Wednesday afternoons from 1pm until 3:30pm a member of our team travels to the Women’s Outreach located at 4101-54 Ave. Please call 403-347-0181 for more information or to speak to one of our team members.

Supported Housing
This housing program is designed to serve 15 homeless individuals who identify the desire to live in a supportive substance free environment. It operates using a shared living model in three residences owned by Safe Harbour Society. We have facilitators living in the houses and they are a key to the success of the program for both our tenants and neighborhoods we are in. Case Managers work directly on the care of the tenants and case plans are developed with clients based on individual needs. Our houses are in various neighborhoods in the City.

Warming Center
This is a program that runs from Nov until the end of April and the hours of operation are 8am until 5pm daily. It is a safe warm place for homeless members of the community to connect with resources, and avoid the elements in a safe place. Contact the main office at 403 347-0181 for more information.

Harbour House

A housing first program designed to provide housing and support for eight individuals who are considered to be the most vulnerable in our community and who have the most difficulty accessing and sustaining housing. Harbour House operates with 24-hour staffing. Individuals with the greatest need are "screened in" rather than “screened out.” Staff members focus on developing relationships built on trust and respect. As always, our emphasis is on improving health and the harm reduction strategies we present provide a realistic health approach.
