All residential and commercial users must have a Rocky Pass to access the Eco Centre. Passes are available from the Town Office and Rocky Regional Recreation Centre. No charge for Town residents and businesses for recycling/diversion programs.Non-residents may purchase a Rocky Pass to access the recycling/diversion programs.As of July 1, 2022, fees for waste disposal at the Eco Centre are as follows:Garbage$3 per bagLarge items (e.g.: couches, exercise equipment, white goods)$10 per itemMattresses$30 per itemFreon appliances$30 per itemRegular pick-up truck or small trailer$30 per loadLoads larger than a half-ton box-size must go to the Regional Landfill for disposal.Recycling/Chemicals/Paints/Oils/Yard Waste/Grass Clippings/Metal/Batteries, etc. will all remain free with Eco Centre access.ORGANICS, RECYCLING AND WASTE User's Guide (updated July 2022)User's Guide [Downloadable PDF]Residential Solid WasteResidential Solid Waste, organics and curbside recycling is collected by Empringham Disposal.Wednesday collection route: South of Hwy. 11A (Alternating waste/recycling as of September 5)Thursday collection route: North of Hwy. 11A  (Alternative waste/recycling as of September 5)Monday collection of organics (green bins) for the entire Town.Residents must have their bins / recycling bags out no later than 7 a.m. on collection day to ensure pick-up. Trucks will not return to pick up late bins.Excess bagged garbage may be taken to the Eco Centre (fees apply).Excess recycling materials not collected curbside may be taken to the Eco Centre (service included with monthly utility bill
